SAITAMA, Japan - July 31, 2018 - Calsonic Kansei, a leading global manufacturer of automotive parts, today announced the appointment of Volker Krebs as Chief Transformation Officer, effective July 23 2018. Mr. Krebs will be based in Japan, and will report directly to Calsonic Kansei CEO, Beda Bolzenius.

The Chief Transformation Officer role is a new position, and Mr. Krebs will be responsible for driving through new and existing critical transformation initiatives in order to ensure that Calsonic Kansei continues to enjoy long-term growth.

Calsonic Kansei CEO, Beda Bolzenius, said "Mr. Krebs brings his wealth of knowledge and experience in the automotive supplier business to Calsonic Kansei. We believe his skills, track-record, and energy as a transformation leader will ensure that we remain fully prepared to respond effectively to the dynamic changes facing our industry in the coming years."

Mr. Krebs joins Calsonic Kansei from his role as Vice President of Adient's Americas Seating Business. Prior to this, Mr. Krebs was Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of IT at the Automotive Division for Johnson Controls (JCI), where he was credited with successfully transforming JCI's processes and culture, and significantly enhancing their efficiency and competitiveness.
