Calsonic Kansei Commences Production of Highly Efficient Low Profile Built-in Oil Cooler/Warmer

Calsonic Kansei Corporation (President & CEO: Hiroshi Moriya; Headquarters: Kita-ku, Saitama-city) announced the commencement of production for its highly efficient low profile built-in oil cooler/warmer (product name: Low Profile BOC (LP-BOC)).

The built-in oil cooler/warmer (BOC) is a product that not only cools transmission oil, but also contributes to improving fuel efficiency through reducing transmission friction loss by quickly warming transmission oil to an appropriate temperature when starting the engine.

Calsonic Kansei has been producing BOCs for about 20 years, and added the small-size, lightweight circular φ85 to its product series in 2011. In recent years, to further improve engine room layout so as to meet the wide ranging needs of our customers, Calsonic Kansei added the square-type LP-BOC, which retains equivalent performance at half the height of previous models, to its product series.
