SAITAMA, Japan - September 3, 2018 - Calsonic Kansei, a leading global manufacturer of automotive parts, today announced the appointment of Andy Koehler as Chief Procurement Officer, effective September 1 2018. Mr. Koehler will be based in Japan, and will report directly to Calsonic Kansei CEO, Beda Bolzenius.

As Chief Procurement Officer, Mr. Koehler will be responsible for the execution of Calsonic Kansei's global procurement and sourcing strategy. Working closely with Tsukasa Fujii, who continues in his role as Calsonic Kansei's Chief Competitive Officer (CCO), Mr. Koehler's role will be critical in further developing the company's cost efficiency, agility, and speed in taking products to market.

Mr. Koehler joins Calsonic Kansei from his position as Founder and CEO of start-up company ART Carbon International. Prior to this, Mr. Koehler was Chief Operating Officer at Puma, after moving from Adidas where he served as Head of Global Sourcing in Hong Kong. Mr. Koehler started his career in the automotive supply industry, spending two decades at companies including Eaton and Siebe Fluid Systems as Managing Director, TRW Automotive as Director of Strategic Sourcing, and Johnson Controls International as Vice President Purchasing for Europe, Africa and South America.
