The Calsonic Kansei Next-Generation Scholarship for 2018
― Saitama Window to the World Scholarships ―

Saitama, Japan - April 25, 2018 / Calsonic Kansei Corporation (President & CEO: Beda Bolzenius, Headquarters: Kita-ku, Saitama City) continues to support the development of globally competitive personnel by offering scholarships for overseas studies to students who will contribute to future innovation and monozukuri. Calsonic Kansei continues to cooperate with Saitama Prefecture through the Calsonic Kansei Next-Generation Scholarship established last year. The scholars are recruited by the Saitama International Association. Calsonic Kansei Corporation is a global supplier of automobile parts, and is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year.

The Calsonic Kansei Next-Generation Scholarship for 2018 offers the STEM Fields Course, and especially welcomes a student who is staying or has stayed in child care facilities, or who comes from a single parent household.

Calsonic Kansei continues to provide support to the student who qualified for a degree course last year.

■ Overview of the Calsonic Kansei Next-Generation Scholarship

● Purpose:

This scholarship supports people who are highly committed and are willing to take on challenges that help to create a sustainable society and invigorate the industry in Saitama Prefecture through world-leading technological innovation and monozukuri.

● Offered course for 2018                                            

STEM Fields Course

Target group: Undergraduate students in STEM fields undertaking foreign exchange programs for one month or more, such as overseas studies and internships

Scholarship amount: 550,000 yen

Number of scholarship available: 1                                                 

Application period: April 16, 2018 (Mon) - May 31, 2018 (Thu) (Applications must arrive by 5 PM.)
