Calsonic Kansei Corporation (President & CEO: Hiroshi Moriya, Headquarters: Kita-ku, Saitama City) will continue to sponsor HOSHINO RACING Limited for 2018 and participate in "AUTOBACS SUPER GT 2018 SERIES GT500 Class".

This year, Calsonic Kansei marks the 80th anniversary of its foundation. Calsonic Kansei has sponsored the motorsport since 1982. The company also marks its 37th anniversary as the world's longest title sponsor in the motorsport history. （*1）Calsonic Kansei has participated in every "SUPER GT" since its launch in 1994（*2） without interruption, and the opening race held in Okayama in this April will be the 183rd race Calsonic Kansei has participated in.

Calsonic Kansei has been carrying out an intensive study of heat exchange systems for motor racing that demonstrate high performance even in extreme environments during races. Studying air-conditioning systems that prevent drivers' heat stroke are also a top priority. This study greatly contributes to getting feedback and improving the performance of products for commercial vehicles.

TEAM IMPUL led by Director Kazuyoshi Hoshino is aiming to be the series champion with two young, fresh racers. A promising young driver named Daiki Sasaki joined TEAM IMPUL this year, and the team will keep Jann Mardenborough, a graduate of GT Academy who joined last year. Your support is appreciated.
