Calsonic Kansei Corporation (President & CEO: Hiroshi Moriya; Headquarters: Kita-ku, Saitama City) announced it has been certified as a Grade 3 Eruboshi ("L Star") company by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, under the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace (commonly known as the "Act concerning Promotion of Women's Career Activities").
This certification is given to companies which show excellent results in measures to promote women's participation and advancement in the workplace. Calsonic Kansei has been certified as a company meeting the standards of the highest grade (Grade 3), fulfilling requirements in all the evaluation areas of recruitment, continued employment, working hours, proportion of women in managerial position, and diversity in career tracks. This follows 11 other certified companies located within Saitama Prefecture (of which nine companies, including Calsonic Kansei's group company CK Engineering Corporation, have been granted Grade 3).

Since FY2011, Calsonic Kansei has started bottom-up diversity-related activities aimed at creating workplaces and ways of working where women in various stages of their lives can fully apply their abilities, and these have been reflected in various initiatives.
