Calsonic Kansei Corporation (President & CEO: Hiroshi Moriya; Headquarters: Kita-ku, Saitama-city; hereafter "Calsonic Kansei") conducts various activities to earn the recognition and trust of the local communities. As part of these activities, an inaugural discussion titled Environmental Communication with representatives from local residents' associations and companies was held on November 2, 2015 at Calsonic Kansei's R&D Center and Headquarters in Saitama-city, to talk about Calsonic Kansei's environmental activities.

After they were introduced to Calsonic Kansei's business activities and examples of the company's environmental activities, they were given a tour of the facility, followed by a meeting to share opinions spanning four and a half hour. Representatives from local residents' associations voiced many opinions asking to further deepen their relationships with Calsonic Kansei, and it was felt that the community has very high expectations of Calsonic Kansei.

CKF Corporation (Nihonmatsu-city, Fukushima), a subsidiary of Calsonic Kansei, plans to hold a similar event in December.
