Calsonic Kansei Corporation (President & CEO: Hiroshi Moriya; Headquarters: Kita-ku, Saitama-city) received recognition from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Saitama Bureau for its Research and Development Center and Headquarters in Saitama city meeting excellent health and safety standards; and was conferred with the Saitama Labour Bureau Director's Encouragement Award.

Calsonic Kansei is pursuing initiatives to promote the health of its employees. These include measures to assist mental health, and no-smoking activities including reinforcement of designated smoking areas and times; and holding of no-smoking days. Receipt of this award gives appraisal to these initiatives and recognizes them as a model for others. Calsonic Kansei will continue to strive for health and safety, and betterment of the working environment through workplace patrols and awareness campaigns. It will implement lifestyle related disease initiatives and training on mental health, taking the lead in the enhancement of such activities.
