Calsonic Kansei Corporation (Headquarters: Kita-ku Saitama-City, Saitama, President and CEO: Hiroshi Moriya) started the production of Cockpit Modules in Dalian, China. This is on-site production (*) performed at a customer's' plant by Calsonic Kansei (Guangzhou) Corporation Dalian Plant, a wholly owned subsidiary of Calsonic Kansei. At the moment, the Dalian Plant manufactures Cockpit Module only. However, starting next fiscal year, it is planned to manufacture. Other parts, such as Car Cross Beam, Mufflers, Instrument Panels, and HVAC units. As a base that plays an important role in CK's business in China, the company will seek to expand business opportunities.

*On-site production: A system of production in which parts are produced in areas adjacent to customersf vehicle assembly lines.
