SAITAMA, Japan, April 1, 2013 - Calsonic Kansei Corporation (CK) welcomed its 53 new
employees joining the company at the Welcome Ceremony held today at 10:30 AM at the
Global Headquarter in Kita-ku, Saitama City.

Below is the summary of an address given by Hiroshi Moriya, President & CEO, at the
ceremony.

"FY2013 is the third and middle year of CK's mid-term business plan, 'GX4 T10'. FY2012
was a tough year, but was the year when we had clarified the direction which we must head
for. Therefore, this year must be a year of 'Execution', to prove that we are steadily
proceeding towards this direction. I truly look forward to your fresh new ideas and
enthusiasm. Let's be one Team and proceed on the road to achieve our mid-term initiative:
making CK a "Great Company!"
