Calsonic Kansei Corporation (Headquarters: Kita-ku Saitama-City, Saitama, President and CEO: Bunsei Kure) set up a new company in Haimen City, Jiangsu Province, P.R.C to manufacture compressors for air conditioners. China is the fourth country for Calsonic Kansei to establish a compressor company, following Japan, Malaysia, and Thailand.

The company is scheduled to commence its manufacturing activities from April 2012.

As the first phase, the company is planned to manufacture Aluminum Vane Rotary Compressor and is to manufacture 600,000 units a year. Calsonic Kansei will seek to expand its new business opportunities in China with the establishment of the new company, together with the existing companies in the region.
