[SAITAMA, Japan - April 9, 2019 -] At a school entrance ceremony held on 8th April, the global automotive parts provider Calsonic Kansei Corporation (headquarters: Kita-ku, Saitama City; President and CEO: Beda Bolzenius) donated backpack covers to new students at Saitama City Tsubasa Elementary School (Kita-ku, Saitama City).

Calsonic Kansei has been donating backpack covers to all new students at elementary schools in Saitama City since 2018. When Tsubasa Elementary School was founded in 2009, at a location near Calsonic Kansei's R&D center and Headquarters, Calsonic Kansei donated its gymnasium. Ever since then, the company and the school have shared a strong connection. Again this year, Calsonic Kansei promised to use the donation of these backpacks as an opportunity to uplift the company and to contribute to the safety of all local elementary school students.
