At the send-off party and scholarship student reunion for the Saitama Window to the World Scholarships (held at the Saitama Medical Center on August 2), this student and others studying abroad on the Saitama scholarship program were nominated by Saitama Prefectural Governor Kiyoshi Ueda as Saitama Goodwill Ambassadors.
