Calsonic Kansei's (CK) contributions to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are now featured on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website as a case example.

CK has long been working proactively to contribute to solving social issues through its business. In Fiscal 2016, the company declared contributing to SDGs to be its top commitment. Then, in Fiscal 2017, it aligned its domains of focus in the mid-term business plan and key issues in CSR with individual SDG targets, clarified the SDG targets that it should focus on until Fiscal 2021, and built a foundation to strengthen such efforts.

In May 2016, in the aim of achieving the SDGs, the Japanese government established the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Promotion Headquarters, consisting of all cabinet members, with the Prime Minister acting as Chief Director and the Chief Cabinet Secretary and the Minister of Foreign Affairs as Deputy Directors. As part of the Headquarters' activities, CK's contributions have now been added to the list of good examples of efforts by a variety of domestic organizations on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.

CK intends to continue contributing to promoting the SDGs as a member of the international community.
